So many games, so little time.

October 28, 2010 - Nick Recchia & Tom Worthington
It's been a long time since I've been able to post something. In that time a lot of awesomeness has been released. Number one would be Halo Reach. There isn't much to say about this game that hasn't already been said on about 1000 other websites. If you've played it, you know why I love it. Halo games always make me more excited about gaming than any other game I've played. And what a way to Bungie to leave. They definitely did an incredible job on this game.

Two days ago, Rock Band 3 was released. I picked up the RB3/Keyboard bundle and went home to get my band started. One thing I love to do is customize characters in games. And I have to say the customization in this game certainly did not disappoint. You can really make your character look like yourself with the amount of details that you can change. I'm not just talking about just finding the closes hair and face. I'm talking about the ability to edit your chin, jaw, cheeks, eyes, eyebrows, nose, weight, height, muscle tone, skin color and facial hair. Harmonix certainly did a great job in not only letting you customize your character but to keep them front and center throughout the entire game. Your band is constantly in the background doing something or are part of a short cinematic when going to things like the customize character menu. I also like how they switched up the career by having Road Challenges. The only issue I have run across was last night when creating a character it kept freezing every time I picked eyebrows. I know this game will definitely get some use. Especially with the upcoming holidays. M family and friends love to all play and being able to now have a keyboard player and two more vocals, a lot more people will get to join in.

And on top of these two great games, I have really been wanting to dust of my Nintendo Wii and play some Super Smash Bros Brawl and Mario Strikers Charged. The only problem now is trying to find time to play all of these games. But I have a feeling that with Halloween weekend approaching, Rock Band 3 will get some mileage put on it for sure.
