Well, Curve, PA has all of those things and more as the Altoona Curve return home to Blair County Ballpark to host the Erie SeaWolves tonight (Thursday)-Sunday. Tonight is a Thirsty Thursday with $2 Miller Lite 16 oz. drafts and $1.50 regular sodas available all night long at the ballpark as the Curve try to get back to .500. The weather looks great as temperatures are expected to be in the low 70s at game time with sunshine! Game at 6:30. Gates open at 5:30. Friday, the first 1,000 kids (age 14 and under) will receive a free Tenacious C Growth Chart courtesy of WTAJ. In addition, all Galliker's Kids' Club members will get into the game for FREE! For those not yet signed up for the Galliker's Kids' Club - click the link to the right of this blog and get registered - it's FREE and there are so many benefits!---> Also, following the game, kids can run the bases. Game at 6:30. Gates open at 5:30. Saturday, FIREWORKS follow the 5:30 game between the Curve and SeaWolves and kids can run the bases following the game. It's also a Community Collection Saturday at the ballpark with fans encouraged to bring extra hardware and tools to help Habitat for Humanity. Gates open at 4:30. Sunday, the Pirate Parrot returns to Blair County Ballpark for the first time in a couple of seasons to entertain at the 2 p.m. game. Before the game, kids can learn from the Curve players on the Blair County Ballpark field from 10 a.m. to noon in our second Youth Baseball Clinic of the season. Registration starts at 9 a.m. The clinic is free with a ticket to the game that day. Drink specials. Freebies for kids. Fireworks. Pirate Parrot. Youth Baseball Clinic. This weekend.
